Lessons We Learn

Love isn’t all about baring skin
It’s also about baring souls
Exposing feelings
To a chosen few
An opportunity to teach
A chance to learn
And last night I learnt
That you can make someone smile
Or make them sigh between the sheets
But you can never
Ever, ever
Make them love you
